: Decorators, Crafters, Custom Clothing Makers, Freelance Designers and Artists Wanted
: We are a group of freelance decorators and designers who are opening our own decorating center and workroom. We have a combined experiance in this business of over 20 years. We are exploring all areas of fabric design, home decorative lines and clothing creation.
: We are interested beginning a designer clothing and designer fabric line and would like to become affiliated with companies and individuals who design their own fabrics and clothing patterns. We are researching what is involved with designing fabric lines and selling finished product lines including our own fabrics, patterns, clothing, home decorative and distribution of the finished product lines and already have sources in Taiwan, India, and South America.
: This is also a concept for a new decorating and design center in the Western Machusetts Area. We are planning to first open the workroom part of the center towards mid to end of summer in time for all your holiday needs.
: All sewers, decorators, crafters and designers are invited to work for us and with us. We will be solicitating s from all the decorating professionals and the general public. We also would like to give sewing lessons and are interested in hiring anyone who would like to set up and teach cles. We will be hiring several sewers to work in the work room and also will be renting time to outside sewers to use our work room when there is time available.
: We are planning to have at least one large 108" x 108" work table for all the larger s and several extra upholstery sewing machines available for a minimal hourly rent. We also hope to purchase an inspection table for all fine fabrics.
: We will have wall space in the workroom available for decorators to showcase your work at a nominal monthly fee. Once the Design Center project is completed decorators, designers, and crafters will have their own "room" to decorate in their style to showcase their work also for a nominal fee.
: We are also approaching all the major textile mills, converters, bers, and all other companies involved with the home decorating field to join with us and form a design center in the Western Machusetts Area. We are researched the leading furniture, textile, home decorating companies, and decorating professional and are approaching at least 100 or more each week. We have been approached by more then 150 companies from these mailings interested in our representing their products in our center.
: We are looking for start up capital to purchase the sample lines needed to show the products properly and profesionally, pay any incendental expenses, phone, rent electric, and begin searching and setting up the building to showcase all the companies wishing to be involved. We are basing our design on the numerous design centers all across the country including the Denver Design Center, The Boston Design center and the newest in Las Vegas but are adding the workroom/consignment element to draw additional clientel that would not usually come in contact with this center.
