If you think the public right to free press is wrong, perhaps you should live in a different country, like China. Propoganda is a form of rhetoric. Rhetoric is the principle behind argument. Therefore, anyone practicing rhetoric openly is practicing propoganda in their own way. To say that it is wrong for any given media to do this is not democratic. To discourage freedoms is socialist.
It is sad that the media has the power to accuse and destroy a person's identity, but that is where the legal systems of our country come in. Defamation is a popular suit these days, and the media must watch the actions it takes in order to avoid lawsuits by individuals. The gov't and freedoms of our country were designed to take care of themselves. I undersand you are probably angry or frustrated, but making a frustrated post will not examine the roots of that frustration.
