I've wondered about Rush lately too. He seems to have backed off the way he went after the system prior to the 94 elections. At that time he was popular with many, other than the hard core demos. People were called dittoheads because he was saying what they were thinking. I really believe he had a lot to do with the GOP taking over both houses. I'm not so sure that the liberal media and the owners of our major media outlets didn't see that too,as he was unceremoniously dropped from the TV before the 96 elections got underway. Have always suspected that was not just coincidence. OH well, I have concluded that the american people get what they deserve when it comes to politicians. What can you expect when they won't watch the news, read newspapers, a news magazine or listen to a radio on whats going on in there own country. Thank God for CSPAN where you can watch that bunch of phonies argue a point favorable to themselves and then watch their spin later, most of the time you would think they are talking about a different subject. I have often thought all of our congressmen should be required to take an oath that said all my decisions must be "country first, my state second, my district and then and only then may I consider myself in my votes or legislation presented. If I fail to p this test I must resign" But what do I know, I'm not a lying lawyer or egomaniac that is power hungry hobie
