Hi all, Sue I welcome your vote and your honest opinion of what I agree is BUSH-lite. I'm afraid it comes with all the calories. I have voted on both sides, I rarely stick to a single party. This year has been espescially troubling as non of the canidates are that appealing. I have worked in the investment buss. for 25 years, and have heard all the lies about lowering taxes. I find it troubling that a conservative would not want to pay down the debt. I do not want his mess left for my children to clean up. We are lucky to be in the financial position we are in, lowering taxes now is a way to get votes, but is wrong for the future of this country. While Gore says he will pay down the debt, it probably won't happen under his or any admin. The shopping lists that the pols. bring to Wash. will eat it up, both Rep., and Dems., have their special people that need this and that project, and they forget about you and I. We need a PAC for the general public. This primary election focused on issues that did not affect you and I. I'm Catholic and I don't give a rats u know what where he spoke, and because a pol. didn't want to vote for a pork belly bill that also included cancer research so what. PAY DOWN THE DEBT, then LOWER TAXES! Stop trying to fund every PAC that comes alongs wish list. NON of them want campaign finance reform, we are not morons folks, we know the score. If they were sincere we would have it. I'm starting to ramble.
