Thank goodness, at least now Elian is getting some rest from the constant glare of the cameras. The Cuban family should go home and give Elian time with his father. They are fighting for a cause, not Elian. They are wrong to try to steal this child from his father. If the Cubans in Miami are so proud to be in America, why are they waving Cuban flags and not honoring our laws? I guarantee that if I had had custody of a child relinquished and I had not cooperated with the officials, that I would be hauled off to jail. The child deserves to be with his father, he is a minor, therefore the father, since he is the sole parent, has the right to make decisions for the boy.
