It is standard SWAT training to have the trigger finger in the position shown in the infamous photograph upon entry and while searching. It is a proven fact that this position does not slow reaction time upon target aquistion. AGAIN, this is standardized training all over the world. : Furthermore, as usual, you are right on point with your comment about no arrest of the family members being made during the search. A point which I am sure did not go unnoticed by the family attorneys.
