I recently retired from the US Army, and can testify that the majority of enlisted personnel qualify for food stamps and the WIC program. Most Air Force installations have those offices located on the base. I use to brief all my soldiers that it was better to have food on the table than have your children go hungry. It saddens me to think that these young men and women can make the ultimate sacrifice for the love of their country and have their families go hungry at night. I agree with Mr Limbaugh tax free for those who serve. We seem to have forgotten that when we went to the Gulf we became tax free.
